Updated December 8, 2020 – As your local elected officials, the Howe Township Board of Supervisors want to reassure the residents of the Township that we are acutely aware of the ongoing concern over this global crisis. First and foremost, there is no reason for panic. We must all be vigilant, yet remain calm. We believe in the exercise of good judgement by our residents, individual freedoms and in the Constitution.
Following common sense recommendations such as regular washing of hands, social distancing and wearing of masks or face coverings, as appropriate, as well as many other suggestions that have been published by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the PA Department of Health (DOH) and others, will aid greatly in limiting the spread of this disease.
Our leaders have assured us that a vaccine is on the horizon, as well as many therapeutics that can be used to treat and defeat this invisible enemy. The situation is very fluid and we will continue to monitor events on an ongoing basis and adjust accordingly. Please remember, we will all get through this together if we stay calm and practice good common-sense behaviors. For the time being, our Township office remains open by appointment only during the hours listed here.
