The Howe Township Board of Supervisors is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a grant of $8,080.74 from the Perry County Conservation District for improvements (installation of retaining wall) along Gypsy Hollow Road (T-473). The Board of Supervisors extends its thanks and gratitude to Neil Imes, Resource Specialist for the Conservation District, for his assistance in making this a reality. The project is slated for completion no later than 9/19/2018. Dale Beaver, Chairman of the Howe Township BOS, commented “The amount of this grant may seem like ‘small change’ to most municipalities, however, for a small municipality the size of Howe Township, this is huge! We are extremely grateful to the Perry County Conservation District and to Neil for his help in securing this grant. We are looking forward to beginning this important project.
