Sealcoating (Tar & Chip) work has been scheduled on various roads throughout Howe Township. The work is scheduled for completion on September 6th, with alternate dates of September 7th, September 8th or September 11th, weather permitting. The Township plans to sealcoat Burd Road, Cramer Court, Gypsy Hollow Road, and Herr Court, as well as a significant portion of Acker Road. This approach will allow the Township to maintain the integrity of our Howe Township Road System Pavement Preservation Program. The project should be completed in one day, IF the weather cooperates with us. All sealcoating should be completed by the middle of September. The Township has contracted with Russell Standard/Hammaker East who, once again, offered the lowest bid cost for the project.
