Sealcoating (Tar & Chip) work has been scheduled on various roads throughout Howe Township. The work is tentatively scheduled for completion on August 14th, weather permitting. In the event of inclement weather, the work will be rescheduled as quickly as possible. The Township plans to sealcoat Acker Loop Road, Hummingbird Lane, Bretz Court (Excluding the Cul-de-Sac), as well as a significant portion of Acker Road, beginning at the intersection of Acker and Bucks Valley Road. This approach will allow the Township to maintain the integrity of our Howe Township Road System Pavement Preservation Program. The project should be completed in one day, IF the weather cooperates with us. The Township has contracted with Russell Standard Corp. who, once again, offered the lowest bid cost for the project.
