Supervisors Encourage Small Businesses, Non-Profits, To Apply For CARES Act Grant Funding ASAP

The Howe Township Board of Supervisors strongly encourages Small Businesses, Non-Profit Organizations and Qualifying Individuals to apply for CARES Act Block Grant Funding administered by the Perry County Commissioners.  The contact for the Program on behalf of the Commissioners is Andy Pepper, CARES Funding Manager, Phone 717-601-8027.  Click here to access the Program Guidelines and Grant Applications for Businesses, Non-Profit Organizations and Individuals.  Applications should be submitted by the deadline of August 28, 2020.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

Eligible Applicants

  • Small businesses with fewer than 100 employees
  • Tourism businesses of all sizes
  • Nonprofit organizations as defined by Section 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(19) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986.
  • Behavioral health and substance abuse disorder treatment providers
  • Municipal governments
  • Individuals affected by the COVID pandemic

NOTE: Priority for the Perry County CARES Act Funding will be given to businesses that have not received previous COVID-19 funding grants.
