At this present time, the Howe Township Sewer Authority is projecting the initial tapping fee to connect to the public sanitary sewer system to be $1,500. A tapping fee is a one-time payment made at the time of connection to the sewer system. The initial monthly sewer fee is projected to be approximately $100 per month. These amounts are based upon the projected number of homes and businesses to be connected, the actual construction costs of the project, annual debt service and the annual operating expenses. Please note, these amounts are projected estimates only and are based upon currently known costs and expenses, but are subject to change. The Authority will be mailing out a letter to customers in the coming months with additional details regarding the project.
